Size 1 (Please see attached Gel Box Selection pdf for correct sizing) The Wago Gelbox splicing connection box, is designed to be used with 221 and 2273 series of splicing connectors, with IPX8 levels of moisture protection the new WAGO Gelbox now provides splicing connectors with protection against condensation, heavy precipitation and powerful water jets. In low-voltage applications (e.g., 230V AC) the WAGO Gelboxes are used in distribution boxes together with splicing connectors, as this is the only way to double insulate the cable. For extra-low voltages (SELV), the WAGO Gelbox can be used without an additional housing; however, the conductor insulation must be suitable for these applications.
