TLA take our corporate responsibility very seriously and are commited to supporting charities both local and nationwide.
There are so many extremely worthy charities and of course we can't support them all, but supporting ones that affect our staff and friends is our aim and we sincerely hope that every donation makes a real difference to peoples' lives.
For December, we are making a donation to the Typhoon Haiyan Appeal. Typhoon Haiyan hit the Phillippines during the early part of November 2013 and was an exceptionally powerful cyclone that caused complete devestation to parts of Southeast Asia.
From hygiene kits to rations, blankets to tarpaulins, much aid is needed. Through the sterling work of the British Red Cross, that help is being given.
TLA are pleased to offer a personal contribution to the British Red Cross.

For December, we are also donating to the Alzheimer's Society. The facts are sobering around dementia- there are 800,000 people with dementia in the UK with numbers set to rise to over 1 million by 2021. One in three people over 65 will die with dementia.
Dementia research is desperately underfunded and the government invests eight times less in dementia research than in cancer research. The Alzheimer's Society has £6.5 million invested in dementia research both to improve care for people today and find a cure for tomorrow.
TLA have made a donation to help fund the very important work the Alzheimer's Society do.

For November, we are donating to the Movember cause. Movember is about changing the face of men's health one moustache at a time. Mo Bros start the month clean-shaven, and then grow and groom their moustache all month long, flying the Mo flag for the 30 nights and hairy days of Movember.
Movember raises funds and much needed awareness around the often-ignored issues of men's health - specifically prostate cancer, testicular cancer and men's mental health.
TLA are pleased to support this very worthy cause by offering a personal contribution to Movember 13.
